How every child can thrive by five!!!!!
Elementary school contest
As part of a contest in the elementary schools sponsored by the San Juan County Prevention Action Collaboration (SJCPAC) Youth Coalition, students in the elementary schools during the 2019-2020 school year named their reading puppet. The puppet reminds the students of the importance of learning and loving to read.
Blanding Elementary (colt) – “Mr. Fluffles”
Monticello Elementary (buckaroo) – “Buck-a-reader”
Bluff Elementary (eagle) – “Guardian”
Tse’bii’nidzisgai Elementary (cougar cub) – “Simba”
Montezuma Creek Elementary (cougar cub) – “Ch’izhii”
